Ken-A-Set
For the student who left something at home and is working with a small budget, Ken-A-Set, a thrift store located in downtown Waterville, has the odds and ends Colby students might need at prices that are irresistible for some. At Ken-A-Set, many students find things they didn’t anticipate they would need—like the superhero Halloween costume Susie Hufstader ’12 found for less than $5.
For students in the Mary Low Co-op, the store has a rich stock of cooking supplies and kitchen necessities, including one-dollar cookbooks. From basic electronics—printers, tape recorders—to cups, plates, and silverware to facilitate a late-night meal in a dorm room, the store is filled with things that students are bound to need during their time at Colby, at prices they can stomach.
