Biology professor Cathy Bevier has been studying frogs for 17 years. Talk about a frog expert. For the past five years, she has been studying calling behavior of the mink frog, an animal with a peak calling period of 1-3 a.m. So each summer, she gives up sleep for her fieldwork, and one night she let me tag along. Listen to nighttime sounds from the bog and learn all about frogs from Bevier and one of her summer research assistants, Kali Abel '07. You can also listen to Julia Germaine '07, as she reads an excerpt from an original short story.
