Sounds like you had a great time in Tanzania despite the lack of amenities! You get used to the latrines, I promise!

Emily, Saw info about you on the Colby site. I've spent the last two summers working on projects in Africa: Malawi and Kenya. I have an unfinished project in rural Kenya. How long will you be there? Do you have any Colby connections there? I understand there are C grads in Kenya though I never had the chance to look them up while there. If you have a minute, tell me exactly what you are doing, how long you'll be there and where you are living/working. I have been at the international aid thing for, oh, 30+ yrs. Have found that my micro loan programs work better than US AID-funded projects in most cases. would love to find a few Colby folks to help getting this present project off the ground.
