Classes have wrapped up for Emily Fleming '12, who was studying in Kenya. Now she and her group disperse around Kenya and other African countries to pursue independent projects based on their personal and professional interests.

Congrats on finishing the classwork Emily - now on to the best part... I did SIT Kenya fall '95 and it was the best experience of my life. My independent project was in Isiolo, studying the effects of tourism on the Samburu. Living in Isiolo by myself was an experience unlike any I have ever had in my life. Bahati nzuri!
