Hey everyone, my name is Hannah Bowman.  I am a junior French and English major with a German minor.  I’m from Farmville, a very small town in Southern Virginia.  Like most students at Colby, I participate in many activities aside from my normal courses.  I am a member of the Volleyball Team and outing club, along with mentoring at an elementary school in Waterville, giving tours, and working for Admissions.  I have loved my time at Colby thus far, and I have had tons of new experiences such as learning how to sled, discovering organic food (in our great dining halls!), and enjoying fall in New England.  I’m especially excited about studying abroad in France next year in the spring, especially after spending my last JanPlan with 20 other Colby students in Paris.  If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
