Alex McAuliff '13

My name is Alex McAuliff and I am a senior hailing from Waterville, Maine. (Although my friends like to poke fun about my Waterville roots, they usually stop laughing when my mom drops off a plate of warm chocolate chip cookies). I am a government and global studies double major and I hope to ultimately pursue a career in international law.  As a member of the varsity tennis team, time not spent in the classroom or in the library is typically spent on the tennis courts. In addition, I am a member of the Goldfarb Student Advisory Board, Class Council and the past two years I served as a Dorm President. This spring I studied abroad in Kampala, Uganda. While it was hard to be away from Colby, my time in Uganda was extremely rewarding and a valuable experience. Despite the reservations I had as an incoming freshman about attending college in my hometown, I could not be happier with my decision and I have enjoyed every aspect of life at Colby!
